The Kogi State Government has stopped embattled Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan held a planned homecoming rally on Tuesday.

The invitation shared to Whistler shows that the revoked lawmakers challenged her defendants for alleging that the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio’s sexual harassment was held Tuesday, where voters will hold a grand reception in her honor.

The event that was supposed to start at 9 a.m. was left confused due to state governor Usman Ododo’s ban on gatherings and public gatherings and the alleged credible intelligence reports that could have been reliable about potential security breaches in the event of a moratorium on fishing in certain areas.

The Government in a press statement signed by the Commissioner’s information and communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, It emphasizes its unwavering commitment to the protection of life and property and maintains a peaceful environment in the country.

One of the direct contact factors of these measures was the violent fishing crisis in the Kogi local government areas, especially in Casmia, Katubo and Umsuet, which resulted in two loss of life. Therefore, all fishing activities in the affected areas were suspended until peace was fully restored and security agents deployed to execute the directive.

When the aforementioned publication contacted Akpti-uduaghan, would she continue to carry out activities that she did not respond to.
