Muhammad Usman Shehu, a famous civil servant and philanthropist from the Toto local government area of Nasarawa State, his wife Hayiya Fatima Ahmed Usman, and four other family members were killed in a fatal car accident.
The accident occurred on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at around 12:34 pm along the Abuja-Lokoja Expressway.
The late Fatima is also the sister of Pharm Baba Yahaya Ahmed, who is the executive chairman of Toto LGA.
A witness said the couple and four others left Toto town on an unmarked Honda and were buried in a relative in Kotonkarfe at the time of the accident.
He said the car turned from the road to the road and then reached into the ditch after the trailer hit the vehicle from behind, adding that all six crew members D! ed on the spot.

Muhammed Usman is the aspiring person to chair the November 2024 Toto LGA election, according to the Daily Trust.
