Naomi Chebet’s family is allegedly seeking justice by her husband M8rderder’s family in an apartment rented in Kiambu, Kenya.
Naomi recently reunited with her estranged husband Samuel Njoroge, whose brother Harrison was discovered by D3AD on March 23, 2025, with disturbing injuries suggesting a brutal attack.
According to her brothers, Ben Koech, Naomi and Samuel were separated but settled in the first week of March. The couple has three children together.
Koech told reporters that his sister and her husband lived with Harrison in Naomi’s rental house.
On Saturday evening, March 22, around 9 p.m., a neighbor who was calling outside saw Naomi entering the house with Samuel.
About an hour and a half later, at 10:30 pm, Samuel was seen wearing a mask and walking through the same neighbor, still on the phone with her parents.
Harrison, who works late at night, returns home between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. Upon arrival, he found Naomi lying on the sofa, covered with blankets.
Suppose she rests after a long day of work and he chooses not to wake her up.
The next morning, as he was preparing to work, he tried to wake her up, but noticed that she was still in the same position.
He was shocked to find the blanket and made a grim discovery–his sister had not responded and had been staying for hours.
Meanwhile, Samuel Njoroge disappeared and did not return home that night or the next day. He has been missing since then.
An autopsy performed at Chiromo Mortuary showed horrible details of Naomi’s D3ATH.
She was stabbed twice in the back of her head, fractured on the top of her head, four deep finger marks on her throat, and fractured on her left eye.
Despite these injuries, there was no obvious sign of struggle or blood on the scene, raising further questions about her death.
Samuel allegedly posted an insulting message on Facebook Sunday saying: “Wewe Kufa Uniodokee Malaya Wewe” (loosely translated as “Die and Me Wark Me will Me onery, prostitute”).
Later, he sent a message to an unidentified person, confessing to the crime, saying, “MM Nilimuuwa Coze ya Upuzi, Mbona anijibu” (“I lited her because of nonsense; why did she answer me?”).
Authorities traced Samuel’s last known location back to Githurai 45 on Monday, March 31.
Naomi’s grieving family calls on law enforcement to speed up searches for Samuel Njoroge and ensure service to justice.
They urge anyone with information about their whereabouts to step up and assist police in arresting the suspect.
“We’re destroyed. We need to be justified for our sister. The people who do this are still there,” said Naomi’s brother Ben Kochi.
