The Nasalava State Police Department has arrested Ibrahim Musa, a notorious kidnapper, and rescued two kidnapped students from University Lafia, federal university.
Command spokesman SP Ramhan Nansel revealed this in a statement Tuesday, April 1, 2025, saying victims Sadiq Adinoyi and Sakina Adinoyi were kidnapped in an attack on his hotel in Lafia.
On March 30, 2025, the Nasarava State Police Command received a call in distress within about 2,120 hours, reporting that the alleged kidnapper was attacked in a student hut at Nasara Estate in Rafia.
“CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed, PSC, MNIP, agents from the anti-kidnapping department and CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed of Lafia’s “PSC, MNIPS” took action quickly and mobilized to track down the perpetrators.
“After the technical intelligence gathering, rescue operations were conducted behind the housing unit at 11:30 am on April 1, 2025.
“During the operation, police agents fought each other with the kidnappers. They were flooded by police fire, and the kidnappers fled in different directions, giving up the victims who were rescued safely.
