Former Deputy President of the National Democratic Party (PDP), Olabode George, shared his reservations about President Bola Tinubu’s visit to Paris, France during a series of crises in the country’s crisis, saying the reasons for such journeys were best known to him and his handlers.

A statement titled “Nigeria, my beloved country” can be used for Naija News On Wednesday, the older politician lamented that while Nigerians no longer feel safe in their homeland, the federal government led by Tinubu focused on trivial matters, such as recalling the embattled senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan.

this PDP While expressing concern about the situation in the country, the Chief noted that the people in charge of the polity closed their ears and deliberately carried the honor that could break down the country, saying that Nigeria was firm and dangerously stagnant on the road to self-destruction, which was frustrating.

As he pointed out, history is a faithful record of the past and a prophecy of what is about to happen, saying he saw what caused the collapse of the First and Second Republics that were repeated by the APC-led federal government.

He said “Now, President Bola Tinubu has retreated to Paris, France due to a series of crises, insecurities, hunger, unemployment and other vices in the country.

“Nigerians no longer feel safe in their homeland, but the federal government, all Progressive Assembly (APC) and the Senate are only interested in recalling Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan. What a pity!

“Besides history is a faithful record of the past, it is also a prophecy of what is about to happen. That’s why Fela’s song is still a good fit.
