Nigerian singer Portable makes headlines again after tagging musicians Zlatan and Runtown “Artist coming” Question their relevance in the music industry.
Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola (commonly known as Portable) has once again caused controversy by tagging artists Zlatan and Runtown as “An artist coming.”
During the interview Echo chamberthis OIA Crooner claims that Zlatan is not widely recognized among the rich, which, according to him, makes him an emerging artist. Portable tells how a car dealer friend made him quarrel with Zlatan, which shows that Zlatan is trying to use his name as influence.
“Zlatan is an emerging artist,” Portable says. “A wealthy friend of mine told me not to respond to him because he didn’t even know. He said he had just started hearing his name and didn’t know his song.”
Portable also criticized Zlatan’s musical style, questioning its lyrical quality and audience appeal.
In another conversation with Quincy Jonze, the career of the portable Hantown was called the commentary of the tiktok Sensation Peller, which also called Runtown the “An artist coming.” While the portable means he disagrees with Peller’s speech, he also questioned why Runtown no longer writes hit songs.
“I object to what Peller said, but I also object to London. Why doesn’t he sing anymore? Why doesn’t he throw his hits away?” Portable question.
He then offered Runtown unsolicited advice, urging him to collaborate on a song. “Tell him to introduce me to me, give me a verse and he will blow it again. Brother, if you don’t want them to forget you He added.
Portable’s comments sparked an online reaction, with many questioning his credibility to gather well-known artists, while others viewed his remarks as another publicity stunt.
