A former Premier League defender has been sentenced to jail for fraud for scamming more than 120,000 friends. Lucien Aubey, 40, was sentenced to two years in prison and suspended for 12 months in a court in the French city of Toulouse. He previously made three Premier League appearances for Portsmouth in 2007-08, when the club won the FA Cup under Harry Redknapp. In addition to winning five blocks for Congo, he also played for Toulouse, Rennes and Rems, in addition to clubs in Türkiye and Cyprus.
