    Nigerian Gospel Artist brings YouTube globally in Q1 2025

    Nigerian Gospel Artist Makes YouTube the Most Popular Global Play in Q1 2025

    Nigerian gospel artists Nathaniel Bassey, Mercy Chinwo and Moses Bliss have achieved remarkable milestones on the global music scene, at the most popular Nigerian performances on YouTube music in the first quarter of 2025.

    According to data compiled by Debut Hub, Nathaniel Bassey recorded 52.8 million streams, Mercy Chinwo then accumulated 41.5 million streams between January and March 2025.

    Mercy Chinwo’s hit track “Excul Love” continues to resonate with listeners and amassed 133 million races. Nathaniel Bassey’s outstanding songs were also outstanding, with “Yahweh Sabaoth” winning 25 million plays, “tobechukukwu”, which included Mercy Chinwo reaching 39 million, and “Jesus Iye” climbing 32 million streams.

    Moses Bliss has gained a big moment in Nigerian gospel music on global platforms.

    In the same quarter, Rema maintained dominance in the Nigerian music industry with an astonishing 223 million streams. His global hit “Calm Down” featuring Selena Gomez now has a historic 2.5 billion plays on YouTube music. The top Nigerian artists with 171 million streams, 169 million streams, and Davido has 163 million rivers (113 million) in the rankings include Burna Boy, with 171 million streams, and 102 million streams.
