    A policeman K! Before committing suicide in a dispute with his wife, grief swallowed Kagoga village in Homawan County, Kenya.

    David Okebe committed suicide on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at his home in Kagoga Village, Kagdhimu East location in Kakdhimu East location in Rachuonyo West County.

    Okebe K! Live his six-year-old son, his five-year-old daughter and his in-laws’ five-year-old son.

    Suspicion that Okebe poisoned the children before hanging herself in the house.

    The trouble began for a while and Okey and his wife disagreed. Then, the wife and children fled the marriage home for their parents’ home.

    Homa Bay County Police Commissioner Lawrence Koilem said police officers took a few days off from his job and then went to his wife’s parents’ home. He brought three children to his home.

    However, on Sunday, people entering his home found four D3ADs.

    The bodies of his son and daughter were found in the bed, while the bodies of his in-laws were lying on a chair in the living room.

    “The message we got was that the officer disagreed with his wife. The wife went to the parents’ home with the children. The officer followed her, brought the children back, and then before this incident.”

    kOilem said the children’s mouths were foaming, which indicated that they might have been poisoned.

    “The bubble is coming out of the kid’s mouth, but they have no obvious harm,” Coyle said.

    Koilem said their preliminary investigation showed that the official committed suicide due to disagreements with his wife and in-laws. This means that the deceased left by suicide.

    The police boss added: “The officer left a suicide note and he accused his wife and parents-in-law of being the cause of his suicide problem.”

    Koimet urges parents to intervene in resolving disputes in their children’s marriage.

    He also told residents to seek guidance and consultation when they encounter difficulties in their lives.

    “If the dispute between an official and his wife is resolved friendly, then death will not occur. Whenever they have a difficult problem, let our people seek guidance and consultation.”

    The bodies were moved to the morgue of the Family Bay Teaching and Referral Hospital.
