
The gunman suspected of being a member of the Rakawa terrorist group has at least 13 alert members in Molai Village, Oji Local Government Area, Kebi State.
The attack took place on Sunday, April 6, when the attackers rushed into the village and tried to rust the cow.
On intelligence, local alerts covered cover in nearby bushes and launched an ambush to recover the livestock and repel the attackers.
But, according to local resident Alhaji Augie, the vigilant did not realize they were surrounded.
Ogesey told the channel: “Once the vigilant moves to intercept, the attackers opened fire, with at least 13 people on the spot.
So far, six bodies have been recovered and buried according to Islamic rituals, while searches for the remaining bodies continue.
