The Foreign Ministry issued a clarification confirming that Nigeria did not start a list of countries suspected of banning Saudi Arabia on April 13, 2025.

Naija News The report said that this statement belongs to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Yousuf chew Through his Special Assistant to Media and Communication Strategy, youon Monday.

The minister, along with countries such as Egypt, India and Pakistan, misrepresented the already circulating virus memorandum as part of the ban.

Tuggar called the document misleading and inaccurate, noting that the Saudi Tourism Centre has formally confirmed that such directives do not exist.

“Saudi Tourism Centre has confirmed that there is no such directive. Current official travel guide only for pilgrimage to J.,” Chew explained.

He clarified that between April 29 and June 11, 2025 (from 01 Thul Quda to 14 Thul Hijjah 1446 AH), the only restriction related to tourist visa holders is related to the holders of the tourist visa. During this period, the North Korea visa remains the only valid entry permit for pilgrims.

Tugga urges the public to ignore the misleading memorandum and instead verify travel details through official messages before any plans are made.

He stressed:Sharing unverified information can cause confusion and can affect travel arrangements. ”

For accurate updates, the Minister advises travelers to consult official sources of the Nigerian Foreign Ministry or recognized diplomatic channels.
