American actor and comedian Bill Murray is open to allegations of misconduct that ultimately shut down the film, and the famous actor said the incident still annoyed him. In 2022, a female staff member was accused of “Ghostbusters” and “Groundhog Day” star performing misconduct with her during her film production work. The film was directed by Aziz Ansari and was eventually put on hold by searchlight pictures. The 74-year-old actor told The New York Times in an interview published Saturday that I wouldn’t have thought too much about days or weeks without thinking about what happened to mortals. He explained that he met the woman who filed the complaint, and the incident involved him kissing her because they were both wearing masks, which was a Covid-19 agreement. The woman was never confirmed by the person affiliated with the film, nor commented on the matter. When asked to discuss what happened, Murray said, “I tried to achieve peace. I thought I was trying to achieve peace. In my mind, I ended up being grilled.” But the guys I worked with, I had lunch with me on different days of the week, we were all wearing masks, we were all trapped in this room and listening to this crazy scene. I don’t know what prompted me to do this. “This is something I did to others before, and I think it’s funny, and every time it happens, it’s funny. She’s not a stranger,” Murray said. The incident still bothers me, he said. “Because the movie was stopped by Disney Company’s human rights or ‘H&R’, it might be harder than some other countries.
