Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 36-year-old woman, Omotoyosi Abadajo, for the M8rder of the man identified as Daniel in the Ikotun area of the state.
Command Spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin addressed reporters at the command headquarters on Monday, April 7, 2025 Daniel, 47, allegedly arrived at D3ath by the suspect in a dispute in the Abaranje area of ikotun.
He said the incident occurred at around 2 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2025 and was reported to the Ikotun Police Department shortly afterwards.
Handin said the suspect reportedly stabbed the victim with a broken bottle during the heat exchange.
“Daniel was taken to the hospital after the attack but was confirmed dead when he arrived.
He added: “The suspect has been arrested and has been detained by police, and the body of the deceased has been deposited in Mainland General Hospital Morgue in Yaba for an autopsy.”
