Labour Presidential Candidate (LP) in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi dismissed his plan to leave the party.
During the ongoing National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Abuja, he made clarifications while addressing party members.
“I didn’t tell anyone I was leaving Labour,” he said.
Obi said he has not had any discussions about any individual or group he left the Labor Party. He stressed that any decisions regarding the party’s future will be consulted with stakeholders.
Recall that a few days ago, SDP presidential candidate Adewole Adebayo, said a long-standing list of prominent politicians including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former President Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi Peter OBI (Peter Obi) attended the talks ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
