    Police arrest thugs see assault on woman in car beaten in Lagos

    Lagos State Police Command has arrested ONU on Friday.

    In a statement released today on April 9, the headquarters spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin explained that the incident occurred on Monday, April 7, near the state’s Oriental Hotel area when ONU was arrested allegedly attempting to steal Amole’s car battery. She resisted, which led to him assaulting her.

    A police spokesman said the samurai suspected of the thug was arrested by agents of Marcos but suddenly fell ill and was transferred to the Faromo Police Station.

    “The Lagos State Police Department is aware of the viral video circulating on social media, depicting a suspected attack on the defeated snow unde Amole near the Oriental Hotel area of ​​Lagos. The commander condemned the act and hopes to update the public with the actions taken.

    The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on April 7, 2025, when the suspect identified as ONU was arrested on Friday in an attempt to steal Amole’s car battery. Amore bravely intervened to prevent theft, resulting in the suspect assaulting her.

    Shortly after the incident, after officials from the Maroko branch responded quickly, ONU was arrested and detained in the division. He was preparing for his arraignment when he suddenly became ill. He was immediately transferred to the Faromo Police Hospital and is currently undergoing treatment under close supervision.

    The Lagos State Police Command assured the public that the judicial public will be held. After a police medical professional declares fit for trial, the suspect will be prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction.

    The order reaffirms its commitment to ensuring the safety and protection of all residents and urges the public to continue to work with law enforcement. We also commend Ms. Amor for her bravery and assure her and all victims of crime that their cases will be brought thoroughly to ensure justice in all circumstances. ”
