Jimmy Odukoya, a senior pastor at the Source of the Church of Life, said God instructed him not to cut off his braids.
Jimmy said in a recent sermon that he sought guidance from God for his appearance before he resumed his pastoral duties, and God clearly told him not to cut his hair.
He said that to confirm the news, he asked his sister Tolu odukoya-jogun to pray for it, and she received the same instructions to prove Jimmy’s experience.
One thing I asked the Lord before I came back was whether I should cut my hair. The Lord told me not to cut my hair. I knew what God said to me, so I told my sister to pray and God would talk to her. She went back and said I shouldn’t have my hair cut, I know my hair, I know, I already know, because I’ve told me.
A few weeks ago, someone has been coming to see me in church from Zimbabwe. I said please bring that lady in and she started telling me her story.
She said: “People think I’m crazy. I tell everyone that for the next three to four weeks, I’m going to come to Nigeria. I’m just coming to church.
She said: “It was 2016, I was in New York, and it was Thanksgiving, and I had a vision and felt real. In this vision, I saw your hair, you were talking to me, and I was dealing with my life all the time.
I have this dog on my shoulders. I know that dog represents the weight I carry, you have this sword. You start talking to me, it looks like thunder, lightning comes out of the sword, it burns the dog to ashes. You started to announce to me and gave some instructions.
She said: “Fast forward to 2025, after that vision, I went through a tough breakup, and the divorce lost everything. My ex took the house. “Everything I work… It’s a tough time,” she said. For complex issues, my mom was sick and I watched her die in my arms.
She said she was trying to find God, so she went to YouTube to listen to the preaching. Suddenly, my sermon suddenly appeared.
She said: “You don’t understand because when I had this vision, I didn’t know you existed. The people I saw, I didn’t know that it was a real person. So when I saw that man from the sight screaming with long hair. I don’t know any pastor president’s hair.
It’s crazy, in 2016, I don’t have hair. Seeing, hearing and knowing God at some point in February 2025, one of his children will have to see a man preaching. Guess what? If he doesn’t ask me to keep my hair, I’ll cut it.
When I popped up on the screen, she would see that I had no hair and that had nothing. God has kept my hair to save my life. ”
