The GTECH Community Stadium in Brentford will host the 2025 Unity Cup, which includes exciting teams: Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago.

The 2025 Unification Cup will begin on Tuesday, May 27, with the first semifinal between Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago. The next day, the stage will be set as an exciting moment between Nigeria and Ghana.

On Saturday, May 31, all four teams will return to the finals, and the semi-final losers will also be in third place, leading to the crowning of the 2025 Unified Cup champion.

Super Hawks head coach Eric Chelle believes the Unified Cup is a great opportunity to include new talents on the team. He said “We look forward to participating in the Unity Cup because it will give us the opportunity to try out some new players in different roles, which will help us strengthen the team before the September and October games.”

Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong stressed the importance of a unified cup, describing it as a unique opportunity for the team to effectively prepare for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers. He pointed out that “It’s a great game for us to reunite and continue to develop strategies for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.”

Please note that Nigeria’s Super Hawks are also looking forward to a friendly match against Russia in June, as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda and South Africa in September.
