Singer Eedris Abdulkareem has responded to the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) decision to play his trend song “Tell Your Papa'” to respond to bar radio and television stations.
In a memorandum sent to broadcasters, the Commission declared “not broadcasted (NTBB)” under Section 3.1.8 of the Nigerian Broadcasting Act.
Although the song has attracted attention on social media, the committee said its lyrical content violated responsible broadcast standards.
In response to this development, Eedri said in an article shared on his Instagram page that the Tinubu government “recorded that it was one of the most insensitive, defensive and serious malicious governments ever to preside over Nigerian affairs”, adding: “His administration has always regarded constructive criticism as a large crime. ”
She wrote
“NBC just banned my new single “Tell Your Dad”
It is clear that in Nigeria, the government always regards truth and constructive criticism as a major crime, and the current government led by President Bola Tinubu is now being recorded in the record, one of the most insensitive, keen and severely malicious governments ever to preside over Nigerian affairs.
His presidency was less than two years old and the results were terrible. This is a fact that all Nigerians know, regardless of religious, tribal and political affiliation, except for a few happy slaves struggling on their wage master’s table!
The accompanying letter has been sent to all broadcast houses in Nigeria, directing them to cover up the government by hiding candles on the table.
Well, I’ve been on this road before, because it reminds me of the ban on the song “Jaga Jaga” by the Obasanjo government 21 years ago!
No wonder why Nigeria has not made any progress over the years?
“Conscience is an open wound, and only the truth can heal it”
Aruta continues! ! ! ”
