
Anambra State Police Department has arrested four people who threatened kidnapping and violence in the Ishiyala area of the state.
A statement from the command said it received intelligence reports, with some faceless individuals/criminals threatening to kidnapping/kidnapping, violence and online propaganda to innocent individuals in the state, especially in Ihiala.
Police said in action on the report that at 2.53 pm on April 10, 2025, its agents arrested four suspects, namely Chimezie Ezebuo, Chinaza Ndimani, Chinecherem Okafor and Nzube Azubuike All Males and Nzube Azubuike All MALES, and Okohia, Ihiala.
“The cell phone and SIM card used by the suspect recovered threats to their victims, causing panic in the area and endangering the efforts of security agencies and the general security of the country. Meanwhile, all suspects pleaded guilty to the crime and were detained for further trial. ”
The State Police Command said it remains committed to maintaining public safety and ensuring individuals are held accountable for actions that incite fear or disrupt public peace.
