The Gunners are preparing for Emirates’ competitive events due to their willingness to maintain their title challenge.
Arteta confirms that Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka will be available for the upcoming game. Two players had to leave the field in an impressive 3-0 victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.
But Arteta assured fans that “Declan Rice and Saka are fit, no problems or harm. Everything is fine.”
Regarding Riccardo Calafiori, who has been eliminated since the international break in March, Arteta noted, “Riccardo Calafiori has made great progress. It’s difficult to give a timeline at the moment, but he’s in a good position.”
Additionally, regarding forward Kai Havertz, Arteta recovered from a hamstring injury suffered at a training camp in Dubai earlier this year.
Initially expected to miss the rest of the season in case of surgery required, recent social media updates suggest that Havertz’s recovery has sparked optimism.
Aitta mentioned, “Hopefully we can get him back before the end of the season. Let’s see how his recovery progresses. Great work ethics and excellent medical support are key to his return.”
The return of Javitz will be a big boost for the Gunners, especially given their role against Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino in the striker during Havertz’s absence.
The German striker has made a significant contribution this season, scoring 17 goals in all competitions, and his experience can provide a key advantage in the closing match of the season.
After a great performance against Real Madrid, the team is waving its motivation, and Arteta stresses the need to continue to focus: “There is incredible energy around this place. But now our total focus is on the game at Brentford, which will take our best efforts.”
With the second leg against Madrid, Arteta remains reluctant to remain a key player with Brentford.
“It’s our reality – playing every three days in various competitions. To evolve into a team that can win in various environments, we have to perform consistently,” Mikel Arteta explained.
