    AK Slim drops the visual effect of “Shuka Chini” with Tanzanian G Nako

    Canadian rapper and songwriter AK Slim finally releases his highly anticipated music video come downhis latest single is themed on Tanzanian heavyweight rapper and Hit Maker G Nako.

    The video was filmed at Dar Es Salaam, directed by Visior Mufasa, completed in just one day and handled the final edit by Toronto-based video editor New Visuals.

    “Shuka Chini” captures the raw energy of Dar Es Salaam, pairing intercultural sounds with lively street scenes performed by AK Slim and G Nako. The video captures the two artists with a charismatic performance, flanking the dancers with stylish urban backdrops that match the song’s infectious bounce.

    AK Slim said in a recent interview that the “Shuka Chini” project came together after Ak Slim and G Nako met at Wanene Studios in Dar es Salaam. A few days later, they were released with producer Daz Naledge, laying the track, which would be one of AK Slim’s best deals to date.

    Born in Calgary And based on VancouverAK Slim is of Tanzanian, Nigerian and African-Canadian descent. Despite his upbringing with Canada, he has a deep connection with Tanzania – he has been visiting the country since he was a child and grew up in the communities shaped by Tanzanian diaspora.

    In various interviews, AK Slim said the music is deep in his family. His grandfather was Nigerian and founded Calgary Africa! Festival hosted the development of renowned artists including K’Naan, Angelique Kidjo and arrests.
