A man accused of stealing a motorcycle burns in a mob in Makurdi, Benue state.
The incident occurred on Akpehe Road in the early morning of Sunday, April 13, 2025.
According to a resident Ngusha Ugye, the suspect and his “complices” allegedly stole a motorcycle.
A woman was aware of the bike and called on the attention of young people in the area who chased and caught a man.
“The boys stole Javira’s bike early this morning, a woman saw the bike and recognized the bike as they pushed it, she caught the attention of the boys in the area, one escaped, luck ran out, the area disappeared, he shot him in the owner of the bike and the guys were reluctant even before the police got there.
The latest mob action comes days after another man was accused of being a motorcycle thief and nearly escaped from jungle justice at Angus Fraser College in Makurdi.
