    A D! ES, two others were injured when the truck collided and exploded in Bauchi

    A 23-year-old man was burned to D3ATH while others were injured in a fatal car accident in the town of Magama Gumau in the Bauchi State Toro local government area.

    The accident involving two DAF trucks occurred at 2:00 am on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

    The commander’s spokesman, CSP, Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, confirmed the incident, saying one of the trucks had white sand on it, carrying four occupants, hit another truck that fell in the driveway.

    “The collision caused a fire to engulf the vehicle and its belongings, resulting in D3ath of one occupant Usman Magaji (23) while two others were injured to varying degrees,” the statement said.

    “Police agents attached to the Toro Division Police Headquarters responded quickly with other sister security agencies. They put out the fire and rescued the victims. The injured were taken to Toro General Hospital, one of whom was identified as Usman Magaji, who was certified D3AD by doctors.

    “When interacting with the victim’s family, the Chief of Police, Boqi State Command*CP Sani-Omolari Aliyu, PSC(+), MNI, * warns drivers to strictly abide by traffic rules.

    “He stressed the importance of warning triangles that would be at least 45 meters behind, so that approaching drivers have enough time to pay attention and respond safely.
