Chief of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chief George has debunked the assumption that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is the leader of the party.

According to George Attiku Being a former presidential candidate for PDP did not automatically make him the party’s leader.

He added that while Atiku has been pushing for the opposition coalition to participate in the 2027 general election, he was alone because that was not the direction of the party The governor announced After a meeting in Ibadan on Monday.

“The fact that he was the presidential candidate in the last election does not mean that he is the real, fixed party leader of the party. If he runs for his own private interests, it is different from the party’s interests, that fact.” Chief George announced in an interview with channel television on Monday.

When asked if Attiku could be a candidate for the president of PDP in 2027 George Absolutely answered that he couldn’t. The older politician added that the PDP believed in the principle of power rotation between the North and the South.

Naija News George added in the interview that Atiku should be the 2027 PDP presidential candidate, which will be the end of the party.

“He can’t. That’s what I said is that in the north eight years, the south should have eight years of orders, which is the doctrine of the PDP platform. I can’t say he can’t compete, he can join any political party because it’s his constitutional right.

If he picks it (the 2027 presidential vote), it is the end of the party. If he picks it with any manipulation he did last time, we won’t accept it,” Chief George announced.
