    The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Southeast will represent the name of Ude-Okoye on Sunday as an option for the position of state secretary ahead of the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.

    A spokesperson for PDP in Ebony, Tuzle babyrevealed this in a chat with our reporters on Tuesday.

    Naija News Report said the PDP Governors Forum adopted the party’s deputy state secretary in Ibadan, Oyo State on Monday Setonji Koshedo, Acting in the position of state secretary after the Supreme Court’s ruling.

    The governor said in the communiqué that Kochido should be nominated and approved by substantive secretary from the Southeast and the NEC at the next meeting respectively.

    NWAFOR said in a speech with Naija News that the PDP governor’s position favors Ude-Okoye.

    “Yes, in a happy situation, the region has addressed the approval of the State Secretary’s Office from the Southeast since the nomination of Ske ude Okoye nomination to replace Anyanwu.

    “We are going to represent Chief Ude Okoye’s name to the National Working Council (NWC) before the upcoming NECHe said.

    He praised the governor’s position in the quarrel between the state secretary and pointed out their decision “The problem has been solved”.

    He explained that the NWC would accept the governor’s decision to require Setonji to serve as state secretary until the NEC.

    “Yes, they should, because despite the protracted lawsuits by former State Secretary Anyanwu, their nominations are valid.

    “Chief Setonji will act at the upcoming NEC meeting, but the NWC will approve the replacement of Anyanwu’s name in a pre-NEC meeting,He said.
