
The sole administrator of Rivers State Deputy Admiral (Rtd.) Ibok-ete Ekwe Ibas summoned Rivers State Governor Siminialayi Fubara and his deputy Dr. Ngozi Ordu to question before him about the government’s appointments in the past two years.
A statement from the state secretary was on April 15, when Fubara instructed Fubara to introduce all relevant documents and records related to the date, including the reasons and procedures followed during his tenure.
“The meeting will also provide a clear and detailed explanation for the suspended governor why he believes that he should resume his post.
Both parties are expected to appear in person in the meeting room of Port Harcourt River Municipal Government Building from April 18 to 10 a.m.
Worika stressed that attendance is a must.
The statement added that this process forms part of the ongoing efforts of the sole administrator to restore transparency and accountability and to govern lasting peace in the River State.
