Suspicious herders attacked Ottobe community in the AKPA area of Ottokepo local government in Benue state, K!
According to the members of the Benue State Capitol Kennedy Angbo representing the Otukpo-Akpa constituency, the attack began around 5:30 pm on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
A councillor from the AKPA area said during a phone conversation with channel TV that the unconfirmed person is K! lled, hundreds of people fled the community.
Edwin Emma, a resident of Ottoby community, also told Benue’s channel that many people were kid! When lled, he called for help from the government and security forces.
“Our herders in the Ottoby community attacked us, my wife and children fled the community while I was speaking, please seek help.”
Otobi, a community hosting the Federal Department of Water Resources multifunctional dam, was attacked twice in April, and the security guards at the facility were K a few days ago! lled.
Police have not commented on the development as of press time.
