On April 2, the gunmen invaded and killed many residents in five communities, and the gunmen invaded and killed many residents, the attack was only two weeks ago.
Speaking during a visit to Ronku aka on Tuesday, Mutfwang said the government said the government failed to protect the lives of its citizens.
“I’ll tell you the truth – I’ve been crying since yesterday because I believe God has made all the arrangements and that’s not going to happen again. We’ve invested in security.”
The governor noted that while the state has taken security measures to protect lives and property, they have proven to be insufficient to prevent incidents.
He assured residents that the state is doing everything possible to prevent such incidents from happening again and bringing the perpetrators to book.
“But like all human arrangements, sometimes they fail. I want to admit that we disappoint you from Sunday night to Monday morning. Please forgive me. Safety is everyone’s responsibility. We are working to strengthen intelligence gathering and quick response, but we need the community to be alert and collaborative,” he said.
