Mudashiru Obasa, spokesman for the Lagos State Capitol, praised the court’s judgment, declaring that his position as speaker of the Lagos State Capitol was illegal, unconstitutional, unconstitutional and invalid.
The court also announced the House lawsuit and resolution in its judgment on Wednesday, which led to Obasa’s removal of the House on January 13, 2025.

The lawsuit was filed on February 12, 2025 through his attorney, Afolabi Fashanu (SAN), arguing that his removal was taken during the recession at the conference, where he was abroad.
In a statement issued in Lagos on Wednesday, Obasa said the verdict would encourage members of parliament to move forward with the purpose of unity and renewal.
He said: “This is a victory for the Lagos State Capitol as an institution and for the present and future members.
“Today’s court ruling further strengthens our determination to unite and develop together as legislators.
“We remain committed to harmony, for the benefit of our voters, Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.”
