A police officer identified as Nura Ibrahim (F/No 545490) serving in the Danmusa Division in Casina has been kidnapped by armed personnel, suspected of being bandits near Yantumaki Forest.
Intelligence sources told security analyst Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred on Tuesday night, April 15, 2025 along Danmusa-Yantumaki Road when attackers intercepted a navy blue golf cart with registration number DMS 238, and the officer travelled with two other civilians.
According to local sources, bandits ambushed the vehicle and forcibly brought all three occupants, including police officers, into the forest.
After that, the security department began a joint search and rescue operation, and the abandoned vehicles were recovered and taken to Yantumaki’s outpost.
