Unknown hooligans reportedly attacked Senator Natasha Akputti Udoagen’s family residence in the Okiba-Ishima region of Kogi State.
Intelligence sources told security analyst Zagazola Makama that the chief security officer of Senator Yakubu Ovanja reported the incident to security authorities.
According to Ovanja, the attack took place around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 and involved at least three armed personnel who destroyed the building, including broken curtains.
Following the distress alert, a team of safety operators from the Okehi department quickly mobilized the scene.
Although no casualties were reported and no arrests were made, the houses had been recorded and a preliminary investigation was initiated.
Police sources said the motive for the attack remains unknown as the investigation continues.
As of press time, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan has not issued a public statement.
