Nigeria News Nalin It is reported that an unknown armed gangster, reportedly blowing up the family residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan in the Obeiba-Ihima area of the local government area of Okehi, Kogi State, in the early hours of Tuesday, April 16, 2025.
According to intelligence sources, the attack occurred around 1:00 a.m., with at least three armed personnel involved in the destruction of the building, including broken curtains.
The Senator’s Chief Security Officer Yakubu Ovanja quickly reported the incident to the relevant security authorities.
Following the distress alert, safety operators from the Okehi department were quickly deployed to the site.
Although no casualties were reported and no arrests were arrested, the security team has recorded the losses and a preliminary investigation is underway.
According to Zagazola Makama, police sources said the motive behind the attack was unclear.
As of press time, Senator Akputi-Udoagen, a prominent politician in the Central Senate of Kogi, has not issued a public statement on the incident.
