Isaac Aloma, well-known as ZICSALOMA, called on the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (Luth) to treat mothers who are struggling with cancer.
The skier said his mother was taken to a hospital on the island due to her health condition because of her deterioration, but the hospital asked them to take her to Luth, where she filmed her first chemotherapy for the first time.
However, when they allegedly arrived in Luce, they refused to bring his mother in, and instead asked her to go to a nearby lab for some tests.
He said she was taken to the lab and was sent back to Luce after being tested for biomaterials. Zic claimed they locked the door and refused to let his mother in.
He said his mother was weak and looked like a “skeleton” that was unbearable, and for doctors in private hospitals they initially worried that she might not be able to survive. He said Luce refused to let her in despite her condition, and even provided her outside with a chair or bed.
He claimed that security guards said they wouldn’t let her in until the test results were ready within three hours.
He questioned why the patient should be left unattended for hours in this situation.
He added that he tried to get doctor intervention proved to be an abortion attempt and that everyone was “ruthless”, insisting that she would be allowed to participate only if the results of the test result were found.
“Our medical team, doctors in Nigeria, many of them are terrible,” the Skitmaker lamented in the video.
He concluded in the video: “If you don’t have contact, if you don’t know people, you’re going to die here. It’s horrible.”
