Ondo State Police Command has come out to rule out rumors about accidents related to the First Lady’s convoy.
The Nigeria Daily Report recalls an earlier news that Remi Tinubu, a car in the First Lady’s convoy, killed a young girl in Akure, Ondo state.

In a recent statement, the Police Command marked the rumor as false and misleading.
Remi Tinubu is said to have appeared in the state to launch a new Hope Initiative Health program and to distribute 10,000 specialty toolkits including Crocs and Scrubs to midwives in the Southwest.
DSP Olufunmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya said the confirmation was an incident in the incident, saying that the news was spread by the news platform Sahara journalists.
The report is not inaccurate, she said, but added that it lacks a foundation of complete transparency and reliability.

“A false and misleading report published by a journalist on April 17 attracted the attention of Ondo State Police Command. The convoy of the First Lady’s convoy, Sen. Oluremi, was allegedly the cause of the tragic death of the young Akure girl. ”
“Eyewitness accounts and preliminary investigations conducted by the command confirmed that the incident was caused by a crash driver of an unregistered white Lexus vehicle, not any vehicles associated with the First Lady’s convoy. ”
The police added that it was said to be a seven-year-old girl, not mine, the little girl recorded by the Sahara journalist was knocked down.
The girl’s mother and eye witnesses also confirmed the story, noting that the incident took place in the Obary El area of Akur, Odo.
“Sahara journalists inaccurately claim that the deceased is nine years old. According to her parents, the child is actually seven years old and even in such a sensitive situation, the factual accuracy of the publication ignores the facts,”
“Never participated in the First Lady’s convoy.” A police spokesman reiterated.
The Ondo State Police Chief also visited the victim’s parents, noting that police have conducted a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
