A man from the IMO State Police Command has cracked down on the state’s IPOB/ESN hiding place.
Daily reports Nigeria collects this action as necessary preventive measures to prevent violence and attacks in Easter celebrations.
The operation was conducted in the early hours of Thursday, April 17 by police forces and local alert people.
DSP Okoye Henry confirmed the success of the confirmation, saying the three were arrested, ammunition and 100.3 million Dutch guild cash.
PPRO also identified the arrested suspects as Onyekaba Ikenna Innocent (21), Ugwu Ikenna (31) and Of Kasarachi (37), while noting that two other fleeing members are being pursued.
““Based on reliable intelligence, our agents attacked the suspected IPOB/ESN hiding place on Cameron Street in Okigwe Lga,” Henry said. “The items recovered include an AK-47 rifle, two pump guns, two pump guns, eight on-site cans, eighteen on-site cans, mobile phones, laptops, laptops and 10.3 million in cash.”
“Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station,” Henry added
