A 100 student at the Winneba Education University in Garner allegedly committed suicide after discovering that his girlfriend had deceived him.
The student reportedly committed suicide after hanging his girlfriend on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
According to a witness report, the young man allegedly found his girlfriend accidentally found in an intimate situation with another person from the Hall One of the University of Ghana staff pension scheme (Gusss).
It is believed that the emotional distress caused by the incident helped him decide his life.
His body was taken away by the Winnaba police for further investigation.
