Former Labor Vice Presidential candidate Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed predicts that President Bola Tinubu will not seek reelection in 2027, claiming that it will be a wise political decision.
Speaking on Friday’s TV show Prime Time Plan, Baba-Ahmed ruled that all Progressive Conferences (APCs) would lose in the next election, and Tinubu should resign to avoid further political losses.

“I hope Tinubu is that smart politician who will throw in a towel,” Baba-Ahmed said.
He also accused the president of long-term election manipulation, saying: “He skipped 2007, jokingly made the Atiku candidate Ribadu and in 2011 Ribadu and someone, made Buhari in 2015, Buhari won, and then skipped 2019, they stole 2023.” ”
Baba-Ahmed concluded that Tinubu’s political strategy has already embarked on its own path and that it seems obvious that if he runs, he will lose 2027″.
