Geoffrey Shyam Stirling, ex’s brother The real housewife in Orange County Star Lydia McLaughlin was shot dead by police while at a traffic stop in Newport Beach, California. The incident occurred Thursday night along the Pacific Coast Highway about 50 miles south of Los Angeles.
According to law enforcement sources, Sterling was riding a motorcycle when police pulled him over. He allegedly became uncooperative during the parking period, causing at least one officer to open fire. Sterling was taken to the hospital and later died. Authorities confirmed that no officers were injured in the incident.
The California Attorney General’s Office has begun an independent investigation into the shooting to determine the deadly encounter.
In a statement released Friday, April 18, McLaughlin expressed grief over his brother’s death. “My family and I were shocked by the loss of a brother. We thank our friends, family and community for their love and support. We beg for privacy as we mourn.”
