Actors Zach Gilford and Kiele Sanchez portray a married couple in a crime drama Criminal ThoughtsAfter more than ten years of marriage, they were officially separated. Guildford filed for divorce Friday, ending his 12-year union with Sanchez, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The application citation of “irreconciliational differences” is the cause of the split and the date of separation is yet to be determined. Gilford, known for his role as NBC quarterback Matt Saracen Friday night lightsis requesting joint custody of the couple’s two children, 7-year-old Zeppelin and 4-year-old Revel.
He also expressed his willingness to provide spousal support, although it is unclear whether there is a prenuptial agreement between the two participants.
Gilford and Sanchez got married in December 2012. Criminal ThoughtsGilford plays serial killer Elias Voit, and Sanchez plays his wife in a recurring role.
