The suspended governor said he emphasized the sacredness of the celebration.
It is time to reiterate our shared belief that peace will overcome war and that even broken dreams can find a new life based on resurrection.
“This season restores our faith that neither hardship, adversity, nor even death can distinguish us from Christ’s love for God. In Him, we remain victorious.
“I reiterate my unwavering commitment to providing good governance for the resilient and dignified people in River State.
“I therefore call on the good people in Rivers to continue to support and align with the new hope agenda of our dear President, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while looking forward to a better tomorrow.
“Let us not ignore our collective strength. When we act together as one person under God, committed to peace, unity and progress, the transformation we all desire is achievable.”
