    Insecurity: Stand up and defend yourself – Danjuma tells Nigerians

    • Theophilus Danjuma once again advises Nigerians to stand up.

    • The proposal was made amidst numerous insecurities in the country.

    Retired former Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Theophilus Danjuma once again advises Nigerians on the endless killings and insecurities in the country.

    He mentioned numerous attacks on the plateau, Benue and Borno during a statement during a public event held in the Taraba State of Danjuma on Saturday, April 19.

    According to him, the government cannot fully trust and rely on security issues.

    “My warning from a few years ago is still as effective today as it was then. Nigerians must rise and defend themselves. We can’t continue to sit down and watch, while gangsters, terrorists and crimes

    Danjuma further pointed out that it is now the responsibility of citizens to protect their lives and property.

    “It is now obvious that the government alone cannot protect us. We must stand up and defend ourselves, our families and our land before these criminals occupy the entire country,” he added
