Nigerian music star Davido shared his interest in acting and revealed that he will invest in movies this year.
In a recent chat with content creator Darryl, Davido’s real name is David Adeleke, who says he will still be in the entertainment industry and just work behind the scenes, even if he is not a singer.
“I learned about business marketing, so I will continue to entertain, but maybe behind the scenes,” He said.
Davido also made it clear that he believed he had real acting talent. “I can act. I can act realistically. I performed ‘Jowo’ and ‘NWA Baby’ in the music video,” He said.
He continues to announce that he will invest money in some film projects this year. “I’m investing in a few movies this year. Screaming to my director Dammy Twitch. We have some ideas, and the series is coming,” He added.
Davido also talked about the current situation in the African film industry. “Cinema spaces in Africa are currently going bankrupt. So we will certainly take advantage of that,” He said.
Even though he is still focused on music, especially after putting down his new album 5iveDavido is still looking for names to name himself in the film industry.
