When Pope Francis dies at Easter 88, Ghanaian man may become the next pope

“At 7:35 this morning, Roman Bishop Francis returned to his father’s house. He devoted his life to serving Jehovah and his church.”

Francis, who suffered from chronic lung disease and removed part of one lung at a young age, was taken to Gemelli Hospital on February 14, 2025 due to a respiratory crisis that developed into bipneumonia. He spent 38 days there, the longest hospitalization of his 12-year Pope.
