

Norwich City announced Jack Wilshere as interim manager until the end of the season (2024/25) after Johannes Hoff Thorup terminated as club manager.
Norwich announced changes to the club’s management role on its official website on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. According to the club, Johannes was fired for bad results in all the games at the end of the season, so why Jack Wilshere is in charge of the club.
The statement of the club’s sports director is read as a result;
“Although we have made appointments with a long-term focus and broader club strategy and guidance, unfortunately, recent results and performances feel that we need to make a change. I want to record the sincere thanks to Johannes and Glenn. They are both tired people, they are tired of doing everything they can to improve our football club and hope for both of us. We are in the next stage.
By February, they were ranked eighth in the championship game and were knocking on the door. However, their recent performance has allowed them to win only one of their last 14 games and are now ranked 14th in the championship game.
Jack Wilshere will be in charge of Norwich’s final two games against Middlesbrough and Cardiff City.
