Police forces in Niger state have arrested four people to imitate in the state.

It is said that the suspects raised funds from them in order to become a policeman and deceived people.
Agents from the Niger State Police Force have arrested four fraudsters in the state.
It is reported that the suspect is said to be wearing police uniforms and shaking businessmen and market men/women in different markets.
They were arrested on Wednesday, April 16.
A person released by the State Police Command also valued the suspects: 35-year-old Aliyu Abbas of Katsina Puntuna; Jibrin Idris, 35, Knee, Zawakawa; Great Moses, Kasina; and Abubakar John, 45.
Command spokesman Sp waiu Abiodun also disclosed the items recovered from them. One handcuff, n1.2 million, cut-sized paper, liquid chemicals forged notes and two cell phones
At about 3pm on April 16, 2025, acted with a reliable intelligence, namely, four unsuspecting public members seen in the Izom cattle market, who were planned to deceive a person after selling the cattle
“Based on this, police agents from Maje Div are with Bura No of Katsina.
“At the interrogation, the suspect admitted to being a fraudster and recovered a million naira from it. Other exhibitions include a pile of paper cut to size, liquid chemicals claimed to be used in counterfeit notes, handcuffs, handcuffs and two cell phones.
“Some victims think the group is a fraudster, they cheated their money and cattle in different markets. It can also be said that sometimes they do see themselves as victims or policemen who make fake notes, as well as other means of deceiving people.
“The suspect is conducting further investigation and will be prosecuted in court after the investigation.”
