Kanye West, one of the most influential and controversial figures in pop culture, was brought to social media again to express what he described as a pain and the ongoing war of custody.
In a series of emotional tweets released today on April 22, the rapper and fashion tycoon revealed that he has not seen his son Saint this year, calling not only his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, but also the entire celebrity world.
“Why are all you guys watching and letting Kim take my kids in real time?” Kanye asked, directly naming celebrities like Jay Z, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Donald Trump and Elon Musk. “As celebrities, we are a family in some way. We are all on the same boat.”

He admits that many blame his past behavior and childhood trauma for his recent behavior, but insists that nothing can justify being separated from his children. “You can make a difference,” he wrote. “I’m shaking this.”
He went on to claim that he had faced serious consequences since he put on the red hat “make America great again”, including what he called the deprivation and institutionalization of parental rights. “That was when I broke down and was put in the hospital,” he shared.
In the post, Kanye stressed his desire not only to meet his children, but also to actively participate in raising them. “I don’t need to look at my kids. I need to raise them,” he said. “I’m a good father. I’m a great father.”
One of the most shocking revelations of these tweets is that the memories he says were triggered by a song — a day after Kobe Bryant’s death, he called back at Kylie Jenner’s home.
According to Kanye, adult magazines are within the scope of the children, which makes him deeply disturb him like a father and increases his concerns about the children’s environment. He also revealed that he was never happy to see his 11-year-old daughter wearing makeup.
“I need a plan to exercise rights with the kids,” he wrote. He admitted that he had figured out many things in life, but that was not the case. “It put me at the heart of me because my kids are being instilled with the ideal of serving black people…everyone is watching.”
