The Bauchi State Police Department has arrested a 40-year-old woman, Fatimah Ibrahim, for having multiple times in Azare.
Headquarters spokesperson, CSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil revealed this in a statement Tuesday, April 22, 2025, saying the victim was an Arab student who was placed in the residence of the suspect, where he had been abused by S3xual for more than two months.
According to PPRO, the woman pleaded guilty to her crime during the trial.
“On March 1, 2025, at about 14:00 hours, relevant citizens from the Katagum Local Government Area reported serious incidents to the police headquarters of the department of Asaray,” the statement said.
“The report hints Fatimah Ibrahim, a 40-year-old resident of Tashan Jama’are, in a disturbing case involving a 12-year-old boy, Abubakar Yakubu (not his real name), who was hired to assist her business.
The victim was reportedly an Arab student who was placed in the accused’s residence, where he suffered inappropriate conduct within two months. In an interview, the victim described how the defendant trusted him as a parent character how the defendant involved him in the nature of S3xual, especially when her other visitors did not exist.
“He talked about the mixture involving lemon juice, which he believed might have been tampered with before these events. The victim said he had suffered this behavior several times.
“In the subsequent trial, the defendant admitted her actions.
“The investigation is underway and once completed, the suspect will make an overview and charge the established offence to the court.”
