Former Governor of Delta State Ifeanyi Okowa has dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for all Progressive Conferences (APCs).
Manager Senator James announced this in the Delta State capital Asaba shortly after meeting at the Asaba Government Building on Wednesday.
“All PDP members in the state, including the Governor, former Governor Okowa, Speaker, State Council President, all local government chairmen, etc., have agreed to move to the APC. We can’t continue to ride the sinking ship.”

Before the announcement, Okowa said in his dialect that when speaking to the people, he would make the best decision.
“Rest assured, we are not going in the wrong direction. We will take the best direction, and this is the best path for our people,” the former governor said in a viral video.
