Google executives make horrible predictions about the future of technology that could ruin the world

A Google executive claims that the terrible speed of AI advancement may allow it to occupy all the capabilities humans have in the next decade.

Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis shared on Sunday’s 60-minute episode that he believes scientists are expected to create artificial universal intelligence (AGI) in the next five to ten years.

Hassabis believes that by 2035, AGI is expected to be “embedded” in our daily lives.

Hassabis told 60 Minutes host Scott Pelley that we will have a system that really understands everything around you. ”

Hassabis said he expects AI to have the same capabilities as humans by 2035, and he expects robots to start mimicking “robot technology breakthroughs” in human activities.

AI experts say today’s technology has not yet achieved “consciousness” and revealed that AI robots may eventually develop self-awareness.

He added that if the machine does become self-aware, it may be difficult for humans to recognize it immediately.

“Using machines – they run on silicon, so even if they show the same behavior, even if they say the same thing, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the feeling of this consciousness we have is the same as what they have,” Hassabis added.
