Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum once again caused a reorganization of the Mandara Hills in the Tambas region of Lake Chad and the Sambiza Forest.

Naija News Zurum reportedly made the statement in Maiduguri on Friday during a visit from the defense minister. Badarou Aboubacar, Aboubacar, Minister of Defense, General Christopher Musa, and other senior military officials.

When the governor acknowledged the military’s contribution to the Boko Haram rebellion and the northeastern rebellion, he also noted their recent decline in operational effectiveness.

“What we are facing now is that we conduct military exercises/operations and after a while we are disengaged. BokoHaram and ISWAP members will come again to take over those areas that have recovered so far, Zurum said.

He explained that Boko Haram terrorists breed freely in the waters of Tanbus on Lake Chad, while the military has put in a lot of effort to remove them.

“Since the beginning of the rebellion, there has never been a time to operate on the coast of Tambos on Lake Chad. And, it is the breeding ground for the rebels. They can get money, livelihoods and everything in the water.

“So it is necessary to see how military operations are carried out on the waterways, because all the terrorists operating in the northwest, north-central, north-east will return to the livelihoods of the Sahel and Tanbus in Lake Chad. This is something that needs to be done and that needs to be done.Governor Borno said.

Zulum stressed that among the problems facing the state, there is a lack of manpower covering the Nigerian borders of Timbuktu Triangle, Tumbus, Mandara Hills and Nigeria.

“Manpower is very important, although I know the limitations of the Nigerian army, because now you are everywhere in Nigeria. Northeast, Northwest and North Central and South Nigeria. I know your limitations.

“But still considering the Northeast, Nigerian military should investigate the possibility of sending more trained manpower. There is a difference between Boko Haram ISWAP and bandits.

“ISWAP and Boko Haram are terrorists who are supported internationally and observe that our porous borders are still infiltrated through Sahel, which is our main problem.

“Nigeria will never be protected without protecting the Sahel. Therefore, we need to strengthen the security situation in the Sahel to end the crisis across the country.

“So we need manpower, and in terms of military operations, that operation should be a continuous exercise,He said.

Zulum called on the Secretary of Defense to deploy more tracked military tanks, MRAPS and all corresponding ammunition to successfully carry out the operation.

“I believe these are some things that the MNJTF, theatre commander and military formation will ask you for.

“Then, as far as the Air Force is concerned, we need air support. I know the limiting factors you face in terms of fighters and others, but attack helicopters are very important in these areas, and drones are very important.

“The last attack in Walgo by ISWAP and Boko Haram, confirmed statement said it was carried out with the support of armed drones. They hit the MNJTF with the drone.

“This is the time when the Nigerian army rises again and adopts sophisticated drone and anti-drone equipment so that we can get rid of these problems.

“When you work towards dynamic measures, you should consider a non-dynamic approach, which is very important. Over the past three years, the Borno State has received over 300,000 repentant Boko Haram, not all of whom are fighters. Some of them are farmers,” he said. He said.

Zulum expressed optimism that the state’s security situation will improve soon, while ensuring every support and cooperation for the military to end the Boko Haram rebellion.

“I also want to use this opportunity to commend the federal government of Nigeria and provide all the support they provide to the good people in Borno State.

“Let me take this opportunity to commend the theater commander and his GOC 7DIV and District 3 to continue supporting the ongoing support of ending the rebellion,” He added.

    Tinubu

In his The Minister of Defense comments Aboubacar Badarguaranteeing that the federal government will provide additional military support to resolve Security challenges in Borno and the Northeast.

He stressed that the president Tinubu Ball Directives have been issued to fight rebellions in the area.

“This powerful team of the Defense Forces is here, the Defense Personnel himself, the two commanders, including the outgoing and upcoming commanders, and representatives of all the service leaders.

“This afternoon, we are here, your Excellency is here to interact with our team and find out their requests to stop the new insecurity trends seen in the Borno State and Northeast.

“Our approach is to find out what they need for men and equipment. The President has given us directives to make sure we provide everything we need to stop this ugly trend.

“We know that because of your determination, the Borno State has enjoyed a period of relative peace, and people have returned to towns and villages to rebuild their lives,He said.

He assured that recent security challenges threaten the peace that has been obtained over the years.

“We are here to talk to you and the country about your advice and guidance to the armed forces.

“We believe your advice and ideas will help us further strengthen our strategies and strategies on how to end insecurity,The minister added.
